It is one of the most innovative projects in southern Europe. A proposal of a multi-purpose space in an emblematic building in Tarragona, which has been completely renovated, refubished and transformed into a unique facility available to all Tarragona people and to all national and foreign visitors.
A major reform allowed a greater and wider use of it. The Tarraco Arena kept its façade turning the interior into a modern facility covered by a retractable dome 40 meters in diameter having a spectacular effect.
The central space is 55 meters in diameter, ideal to carry out all kinds of events and to accommodate a large number of assistants. It has a sitting capacity is 10,800 people.
Its technological equipment allows all kinds of events and entertainment with a wide variety of formats: gala dinners, trade fairs, concerts, musical shows, dance, theater, sports, fashion shows, conferences, promotions and popular acts of Tarragona. The Castle Competition being its most important event, but also all kinds of businness and institutional events.
The impressive central area, its great capacity, its acoustics and its equipment make Tarraco Arena an ideal place to perform in the city of Tarragona major national and international events such as the presentation of the new SEAT TARRACO.
